For its offices in Braine l’Alleud, near Waterloo at the South of Brussels (Belgium), our client is looking for a

SENIOR MANAGER BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & STRATEGIC MARKETING (m/f)

Reporting to the Vice President After Market, the holder will be responsible for the After Market business development (new products, new businesses performance). He/she will develop and lead the implementation of after market parts & acessories sales supporting strategies, policies and programs.

Main Accountabilities

  • Developing the roadmap for the achievement of the vision of the division;
  • Conceptualization of the global After Market strategy, including multi-year sales growth and profitablity targets, along with supporting marketing, product and sales strategies & tactics;
  • Creating new business (products, markets), implying a wide range of human relationships, in depth analysis and innovative thinking;
  • Preparing the product strategic marketing plan in line with the overall marketing business plan;
  • Developing and strengthening robust After Market channel processes, including price maintenance, quote management and forecasting/reporting;
  • Executing appropriate segment/application support tools, training for enabling customer penetration and channeling partner effectiveness;
  • Interfacing with the functional organisation as well as with the company’s product development and product planning resources based in Japan.

Education, experience and competencies

  • Master degree, preferably in or similar;
  • Fluency in English (sound knowledge of French or Japanese might be a plus);
  • Eager to have a long lasting career in a Japanese business culture driven, solid and ambitious company
  • Experience in :
  • strategic and operational sales and business development leadership (min. 5 years);
  • automotive after market;
  • complex project management;
  • working for a mutinational company with international accountabilities.
  • Competencies :
  • strong business sense and negotiation skills;
  • ability to lead through organization transformation;
  • strong analytical and syntetical skills ;
  • creative mind;
  • True team spirit an willing to share information and best practices;
